Can you believe it? The Wilderness Act was passed almost 50 years ago! As the anniversary of this pivotal legislation approaches, the Society for Wilderness Stewardship is gearing up, along with other NGO's, federal land management agencies and other wilderness supporter, champions and stewards, to celebrate the Act.
